I love touching base

Yesterday one of my coworkers walked around the office handing out these hilarious stickers. I got the touching base one. Something about it makes me giggle every time I see it. I really have a love-hate relationship with office jargon. I LOVE it and think it's hilarious when someone else says something like, "let's circle back on that" but I HATE when I accidently find myself saying these things. What is your favorite office lingo?

He he... the stickers are really cute. I have to laugh at the IBM commercials when they play "buzzword bingo" because my boss just loves just loves those business phrases. He's got all the typical phrasology (in fact I think "phraseology" is one that I got from him) "that's got a lot of legs" (this one could get you in trouble with HR) , "to canabalize something", "Drop dead date." ... the business world is a strange place.

I almost punch my boss every time he uses the word "nuggets" to describe insights about something.

'Cover your nut' (as in selling enough to cover expenses). My boss always uses this phrase, and I have a hard time not laughing out loud.

Also, this is a strange one...I've noticed our marketing department uses the phrase 'bubble it up' a lot (meaning to present to a higher authority). "I'll bubble it up to Monica and see what she thinks." Huh?
