a bicycle in paris

So I really want to go back to Paris, maybe not this year, or next...but soon! The baguettes, musée d'orsay, and now the vélibs! The style editor at blueprint recently posted an article about his recent trip to france, including some shots of Paris's recently instituted free bike-rental program. It reminds me of my favorite scene in Amélie, at the end of the movie when they're riding around Paris on a bike together. I'm a hopeless francophile, what can I say?

holiday

Anthropologie's holiday collection is here, and I love the new holiday-themed pages on the site. The photography is beautiful. I think blogging it is almost as good as shopping it, here are some of the things I love:
cranberry relish is one of my favorites, with gems like these velvet ballet flats and ruby-red camisole.
I also love feather cake with it's snowy gear, hats, mugs for cocoa, and sweatered-notebooks.

Beautiful Homes

I'm very sad to say that our camera is lost, and while I usually love to put up pictures, we're going to have to take a break from that until we can find a student-budget-worthy replacement, possibly something along the lines of the one Brooke posted about on her blog this week. In the meantime, i'm planning on posting more pictures of things i'm liking online.

I would love to have a kitchen nook one day where you could sit at breakfast looking out the window.
Maybe I'm a neat freak, but I love a white bed, and I love the ginham skirt on this one, also lovely linen drapes.

What do you think of an IVORY sofa? It'd be everyday chenille, so stain-resistant. But am I crazy? I've always wanted a white-ish sofa, as long as I can remember.
