Did anyone of my San Francisco friends see this in person? I guess they did this to celebrate the famous curvy street's 60th birthday. Awesome.

I just got this tiny little box in the mail FULL of gifts from my cousin Britt, a nursing cover, blanket, and these cute burp cloths and lots of other fun stuff. The burpies are so cute I almost don't want to let her spit up on them. My cousin is an amazing seamstress, I need to go visit her in Utah and let her teach me everything she knows about sewing.

This picture just inspired me on how I can hang the Ida Pearle alphabet cards in Tessa's room. I love how this makes them look like colorful banners.

I don't know if i'll get a chance to see Julie & Julia, but I do want to read Julia Child's autobiography, My Life in France, she was such an interesting woman, and I want to know more about her and her husband's love story, and how he encouraged her. I love that she didn't develop her passion for cooking until her late 30's, which became her life's legacy. It makes you realize that you are never too old to develop a new talent, and reminds you to continue to try new things.

summertime

Today Sara and I went to see 500 days of summer and we loved it. The lead character in the movie is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who I haven't seen since 10 things I hate about you, he's become a really good actor and is so endearing in it. Zooey Deschanel is really cute as always and I loved how her wardrobe consisted only of blue clothes for the entire movie. Oh, and the soundtrack is great too, check it out!

*Tessa did great and slept through the whole Matinee, gotta take advantage of the fact that this little girl is nocturnal right now.
